This is the quarterly (“Seasonal!”) showcase I’ve produced & hosted since January 2007. The TCG? takes place in the intimate lounge of a “rowdy dive bar” in New York’s own East Village. My Taint has featured comics who have been on Comedy Central, SNL and late night talk shows, contributors the The Onion, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, 30 Rock and more. That’s right: the strip of skin between my ass and balls has grown into one of the best downtown comedy shows, period.
Oftentimes I collaborate with the the producers of other comedy shows to create a hybrid show: Heart of Darkness + Taint Comedy Great = Taint of Darkness, Check Your Cool + Taint Comedy Great? = Check Your Taint, etc etc etc. Great times guaranteed!
My comedy MySpace page has the dates of upcoming Taint dates. Donations are accepted, but the shows are free-- the Taint is for art’s sake. Room capacity tops out around 50, so show up early;-) Oh yeah, we have $2 cans of PBR. Just sayin’.
